I’m a professional horse and human teacher, riding coach and instructor. I specialize in teaching horses how to adapt, live, thrive and find a forever home in a human world.

I’ve loved horses all my life and ridden for over 40 years. Fifteen years ago, between my full time job and volunteering, I began handling mustangs and teaching natural horsemanship. I’ve also had the privilege of assisting therapeutic riding programs for special needs children and adults in California and Oregon.

Since childhood, all kinds of injured animals have been drawn to me for help and rehabilitation. In the same way, I have found myself drawn to horses as a significant resource to help manage my own PTSD symptoms. Full Circle Horseman was created to give back to horses for all they have done for me and humankind.

Typical, negative reinforcement techniques force or coerce traumatized horses and humans through their problems. My approach is to build meaningful connection and provide a safe mental and physical space to guide students through their obstacles.

“For the Horse’s Wellbeing”

I believe connection between horse and rider is accomplished through mindful, positive reinforcement practices - no gimmicks, coercion, or regrets. The horse’s wellbeing is first and foremost… Click here to read about my foundational principles.
